Roy Bohannon Sr. age 76, of Hickory, KY died at 10:19 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Bohannon was a member of Victory Assembly Worship Center, a retired District Manager with Consumer Oil Company and well known at Scot Market in Lone Oak, a KY Colonel and a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran.
Mr. Bohannon is survived by his wife, Eva Louise Bement Bohannon; four daughters, Pam Farmer of Benton, KY, Sharon Day and Sandra Johnson Guess both of Paducah and Elisha Richardson of West Paducah; three sons, Roy Bohannon Jr. of West Paducah, Fred Johnson of Blythewood, SC and Ron Bohannon of Aledo, TX; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Brown and Patsy McClanahan both of Louisville, KY; two brothers, Larry McClanahan of Paducah and Ray Bohannon of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Gary DeRossett officiating. Burial will follow at Allcock Cemetery in Melber, KY. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
