Cynthia Leona Green, 96, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 6:45 am on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Baptist Health Paducah. She was retired from the foodservice department at Lourdes Hospital and had been employed as a seamstress at the Shirt Factory.
Cynthia was born in Model, TN on April 26, 1918 to the late Walter E. and Eva Mae Crutcher. She was an avid flower gardener and loved animals of all kinds. She was one of the original members of Southside Holiness Church , where she served until her death. She will be remembered as a lady who was kind to everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughters, Velvie Owen and husband Larry, of Paducah, KY and Reecie Dubbles and her husband Greg, of Paducah, KY; her sons, Jerry Molott and his wife Patricia, of West Paducah, KY and Terry W. Green and his wife Belinda, of Paducah, KY; fourteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John M. Molott; her second husband, Leon Green; her parents, Walter Edward Crutcher and Eva Mae Brokaw Crutcher; two daughters, Frances Mardell Neblett and Charlotte Ann Molott; one son, Virgil Ray Molott; five sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11:00 am at Southside Holiness Church, 401 Thurman St., Paducah, KY. Rev Kevin Pleasant will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter, KY.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 15, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah and on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 10:00 am until service time at the Southside Holiness Church.
