Donald Ray "Diesel" Ewing

Donald Ray “Diesel” Ewing age 53, of Salem, KY died Sunday March 22, 2020 at his residence in Salem, KY. He was born May 13, 1966 to the late Donald “Butch” Ewing Sr. & Margie Waddell Ewing in Paducah, KY. He worked as a mechanic for years and owned a restaurant. He attended Harvest House UPCI church where he worked in leadership. Donald was a man of God who loved his church, his family and his grandson.

He is preceded in death by his parents Donald “Butch” Ewing Sr in 2002 & Marjorie Louis Waddell Ewing in 2015.

Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Lois Ewing of Salem; two daughters - Margaret Brill & husband Chris of Hickory, Kentucky, and Ashley Turnbaugh of Salem, Kentucky; one grandson, Allen Turnbaugh of Rapid City, South Dakota; many cousins, nieces, & nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 PM on Thursday 3/26/2020 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, Kentucky, with Rev. Daniel Orton officiating. Visitation to family will be 12 PM until service time. Burial will be at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions an be made to Donald Ewing Memorial Fund at Whitsell Funeral Home.
