Mrs. Jewell Waunita McDowell, 96, of Marion KY, passed from this life on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Crittenden Health Systems in Marion KY.
Mrs. McDowell was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by daughters, Shelia (Kenneth) Tabor and Denise (Chad) Young both of Marion KY; grandchildren, Tonya Dunning of Bowling Green KY, Breeanna Goldsberry of Oakland City IN, Justin Peek of Frances KY, Mitchell Peek of Princeton KY, Amy Peek of Frances KY, Carrie Peek and Hunter Young both of Marion KY; step-grandchildren, Jacob Young and Katlin Young both of Marion KY; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn McDowell; her parents William and Belle Adams Hughes; daughter, Sandra Dunning; son, Bobby McDowell; sister, Leona Hurley; brothers, James Hughes and Fred Hughes; grandson, Robert Shawn Tabor; and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with burial to follow in Carrsville Cemetery.
Friends may visit Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem KY.
