Joe Garber, age 49, of Melber, KY, passed away at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Joe’s love was for God, life, people, and especially his dog, Lucy. Joe was a master at carpentry. Joe had a talent for being a green thumb; His artistic vision was seen through the many flower gardens, garden ponds, and picture perfect landscaping projects that he created. Joe was a living testimony for the Lord, during his battle of cancer. Through his testimonies, he touched many lives and made many friends.
Joe is survived by his two sisters, Rhonda Long and husband, Mike of Hickory, KY and Sue Ann Harper of Lone Oak, KY; two brothers, John Garber and wife Chrystal of Dublin, KY and Jason Garber of Mayfield; two God-children that were his pride and joy, Kyleigh Marie Dykes and Gage Michael Dykes of Reidland, KY.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Garber and a sister, Melissa Garber.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Arlington with David Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Burkley cemetery. Visitaion will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Kelley, Corey Hicks, JD Dykes, Robbie Anderson, Jonathan Smith, Cody Smith, Steve Smith, and Jay Smith.
