Funeral services for Juanita Kirk Hansen, 80 of Salem, will be held at 3:00 pm at Boyd Funeral Home in Salem, KY, on Sunday, January 17, 2016 with burial to follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until the funeral. Bro. Tim Fouts will officiate.
Mrs. Hansen was a member of Lola Pentecostal Church. She retired from the medical field which included over twenty years with Family Practice Clinic. After retirement, Mrs. Hansen spent her golden years caring for her beloved husband and family.
Mrs. Hansen went home to be with Jesus and her departed loved ones on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at 2:25 am, at Crittenden County Hospital in Marion. She had resided several months at Salem Springlake Care Center.
She is survived by two sons, Ray Hansen and wife Maria of Cleveland TN, Todd Hansen and wife Veronica of Salem; grandchildren, Ashley (Derek) Vinson of Lawton OK, Emily (Kris) Swift of Brownwood TX, and Kyle (Lindsey) Hansen of Hickory KY and six step grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hansen was preceded in death by her parents Bice and Odie Jane Kirk, her husband of over 50 years Maxie Hansen, and eight brothers and sisters.
