Mrs. Kathy Lynn Reed, age 59 of Calvert City, KY passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.
Born Monday, October 5, 1959 in Maysville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lawerence Dye and the late Vena (Ledbetter) Dye Henson. She was a waitress at the Yacht Club at Green Turtle Bay. She worked at the New to You Shop in Benton, KY and the Happy Cooker in Grand Rivers, KY.
Surviving are her husband of 31 years, James A. Reed; sons, David Ledford, wife Melanie of Fairview Heights, IL and Richard Reed, wife Jordon of Benton, KY, brother, Larry Dye of Somerset, KY, sister, Sharon Stephens of Somerset, KY; 6 grandchildren: Austin Ledford, Jacob Ledford, Jessica Ledford, Jackson Ledford, Emerson Reed and Grayson Reed; 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, 1907 U.S.Hwy 641 North, Benton, KY 42025.
Bro. Joel Frizzell will officiate. Interment will follow the service.
No public visitation is scheduled.
Collier Funeral Home has been entrusted with Mrs. Reed's arrangements.
