Michael Whitaker, 63, of Ledbetter died on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Whitaker was retired from the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Airforce; and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Patty Whitaker of Ledbetter; one daughter, Jessica Baker of Hardin, KY; one sister, Robin Carman of Paducah; two granddaughters; one niece; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rob Parker and Wanda Fetty.
Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter with the Chaplain Brent Eastman and Ronnie Hopkins officiating.
