Mr. Jerry Collin Franklin, 63, of Salem KY passed from this life on Monday, June 6, 2016, at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services in Salem.
Mr. Franklin was a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, playing cards and being outdoors. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by a son, Jared (Crystal) Franklin of Salem KY; sisters, Deanna (Harold) Quertermous of Carrsville KY, and Cynthia Russell of Lexington KY; a brother, Dan (Debby) Franklin of Lexington KY; numerous nieces and nephews; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carson Curtis Franklin and Elva Pauline Barnes; and a brother, Robert Carson Franklin.
Services are scheduled for Friday, June 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with Bro. Curtis Franklin officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem KY.
