Mr. John S. “Junior” Pace, Jr. 83, of Salem, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services.
Mr. Pace retired after working 33 years at SKW in Calvert City. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the American Legion having served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by a special friend, Doris Simpkins of Burna, KY; one son, Steve Pace (Shawnee) of Salem, KY; one daughter, Linda Kimberlin (Michael) of Auburn, AL; brother, Clinton Ray Pace of Paducah, KY; sister, Emma Lois Belt of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren, Stephanie Koon (David) of Grand Rivers, Bradley Kimberlin (Miranda) of Smithland, KY, Sean Pace (Tiffany) of Grand Rivers, KY, Sabrina Doyle (Greg) of Paducah, KY, and Joshua Kimberlin (Holly) of Paducah, KY; and ten great grandchildren, Tristin, Emilee, Dathan, Kaydence, Dane, Bree, Macy, Emma, Pace and Clover.
Mr. Pace was preceded in death by a son, John Michael Pace; sister, Joy Shelby; and parents, John S. Pace, Sr. and Delores Driskill Pace.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 24, 2019, at 2 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with Rev. Gary Hardesty to officiate. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 5-8 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
