Mr. Larry D. Baker, age 52 of Calvert City, KY died on Monday, April 18, 2016, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was an operator for the City of Paducah, and was a member of Rickman Road Baptist Church. Mr. Baker was a veteran of the US Airforce.
Born Thursday, June 20, 1963 in Biloxi, MS, he was the son of the late Huey Palmer Baker and the late Lillian Eudora (Billings) Baker.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Kelley Louise (Riley) Baker of Calvert City, KY, step-mother, Eleanor Baker of Lansing, MI, sons, Riley Baker of Calvert City, KY and Josiah Baker of Calvert City, KY, brothers, Doug Baker of Colorado, and Dale Baker of Atlanta, GA, sisters, Pam Baker of Louisville, KY, Karen Smith of Paducah, KY and Sheila Shook of Paducah, KY, father-in-law, Jerry O'Neal Riley and mother-in-law, Mary (Veazey) Riley of Calvert City, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, David Baker.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Bro. Stan Durrett officiating.
Interment will follow in the Kuttawa Cemetery, Kuttawa, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Collier Funeral Home.
