Mr. Buel Rudell Henson, age 80 of Benton, KY passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.
Born Saturday, November 10, 1934 in Benton, KY, he was the son of the late Cordie Solon Henson and the late Mattie Lee (Tatum) Henson. He was the husband of the late Kathy (Wynn) Henson.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and was a retired Electronic Repairman. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
Surviving are his sons, Mitchell Henson, wife Doris of Columbia, SC, Mike Henson of Benton, KY and Kevin Henson, wife Lori of Royal Oak, MI, one brother, Wayne Henson of Benton, KY, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and by his brother, Lowell "Bubby" Henson, sisters, Louise King and Madeline McDermott.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY. Rev. Richie Clendenen and Rev. Bob Wiley will officiate. Interment with military honors are to follow the service in the Dunn Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
