Carmen Hatfield, 80, of Benton, KY, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at home.
Carmen loved gardening and always greeted folks with a smile at St. Matthew By The Lake Lutheran Church. She adored her dogs Maggie Sue and Sindy Lou.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years Clarence Hatfield; her three daughters Marie Hatfield, Lorie Hatfield Chez (Jerry), and Julie Hatfield; her two sons Peter and Philip Hatfield; brother Francisco Antonio Torres Jr. (Judy); seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Dianne Nelson and Phyllis Wilk; brother-in-law Roger Hatfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco Antonio Torres Sr. and Celia Aquino Torres; one sister-in-law Karen Wilk and brother-in-law Sigurd Nelson.
A Memorial Service will be held on May 25, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Matthew by the Lake Lutheran Church with Pastor Colleen Winkler officiating.
Visitation will be on May 25, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at St. Matthew By The Lake Lutheran Church.
