Carson Paige Oakley

Carson Paige Oakley, 18, of Paducah, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

Carson was a senior at Lone Oak High School where she was a member of the Swim Team. She was a member of Lone Oak United Methodist Church, participated in the youth group at Lone Oak United Methodist Church and Lone Oak First Baptist Church, and was in Girl Scouts. She donated blood regularly and had signed her driver’s license to be an organ donor.

She is survived by her father, Joe Alan Oakley and wife Renee of Lone Oak; mother, Jennifer Craine Berggren and husband Eric of Visalia, CA; sisters, Gabrielle Oakley of Benton, KY and Isabelle Gutierrez of Visalia, CA; brother, Gaven Oakley of Visalia, CA; grandparents, Joe Pat and Judy Oakley, and Beverly Craine all of Paducah, Bobby Craine and wife Sharon of Goldonda, IL; great-grandmother, Naomi Craine of Gilbertsville, KY; and step-grandparents, Denise and Robert Lewandowski of Pahrump, NV, Jeffrey and Clarice Berggren of Palestine, TX, Don and Gelia Chappell and Alberta Purdy all of Paducah; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dr. Ben Boone officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
