Mrs. Cora Flatt, 90, of Murray died on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Cora was born March 10, 1926 in Enville, TN. She was a member of Liberty Hall Full Gospel Church in Gadsden, TN.
She is survived by five sons; Tim Flatt (Maddie) of Murray, Patrick Flatt (Vicki) of Bradford, TN, Joe Flatt (Jennie) of Paris, TN, Jerold Flatt of Bradford, TN, Terry Flatt of Jackson, TN; a daughter, Paula Pittman Johnson (Jeff) of Cedar Grove, TN; 28 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Cora was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Allen Flatt; parents, Joe and Liza Vinson; a son, Phillip Flatt, a brother, Clifford Vinson; two sisters, Eva Hawkins and Ethel Mathis and four grandchildren, Joshua, Dakota, Shawn and Courtney Flatt.
Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Liberty Hall Full Gospel Church, 532 Polmar Williams Rd., Gadsden, TN 38337. Tim Flatt and Walter Manly will officiate and Cora’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow at the Gibson County Memory Gardens, Gibson, TN.
The family will receive visitors after 5:00 PM, Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at Liberty Hall Full Gospel Church, Gadsden, TN.
