Dennis Tynes, age 59, of Benton, KY, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at his home. He worked as a supervisor for LWD. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton.
Born January 26, 1955, he was the son of the late Ralph and the late Thelma (Wood) Tynes.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anita Carol (Bryant) Tynes of Benton; his three sons, James "Eric" Tynes (Amanda), Sammie "Craig" Tynes, and Daryl Andrew Tynes (Kristin) all of Benton, KY; 3 grandchildren, Blaine, Kiera "Boo", and Xander Tynes; and 10 siblings, Hope Tynes McKinney, Jackie (Sandra), Jimmy (Vanna), Larry (Carol), Phillip (Ann), Mark (Joy), Brooks (Vicki), David (Annie), and Jeff Tynes (Mary) all of Benton, KY, and Joel Tynes (Shirley) of Burna, KY.
Funeral service will be held at Collier Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 28, 2014, Rev. Don Wilson and Eric Tynes officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Collier Funeral Home.
