Dorlene Bookhout, 92 of Benton, Kentucky died on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at her home in Benton, Kentucky. She was a member of Briensburg Church of Christ.
Surviving are her son, Lewis Corlew, wife Julie of Lutz, FL, daughters, Jerry Sue Waldrup of Benton, KY, Merry L. Roe of Benton, KY and Penny Joy Hubbard, husband Dave of Springfield, MO; 8 grand children; 11 great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ruth (Wells) Smith, husband of 62 years, Robert Cecil Bookhout, infant daughter, Betty Jo Bookout, brothers, Harlis, Darrell, and Leon Smith, and sisters, Juanita Williams and Belva Yost.
A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Fairdealing Cemetery with Gary Knuckles officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairdealing Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held at the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home between the hours of 12:00 noon and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014.
