Mr. Eddie Brooks Buchanan, age 69 of Benton, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center, Paducah, KY.
Born December 25, 1948 in Detroit MI to the late James Clifton Buchanan and the late Mary Nell (Morris) Buchanan, he was a retired cook for Kenlake State Resort Park Restaurant in Aurora and was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
He is survived by his sister, Sandra Wallace, husband Chuck of Benton, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Clifton Gerald Buchanan.
Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY has been entrusted with his arrangements.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at thee Christian Fellowship Church, Draffenville, KY. Bro. Richie Clendenen will officiate.
