Frances Anderson

Mrs. Frances Anderson, age 91, of Murray, KY died at 12:45pm Monday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. She was born Oct. 20,1921 in Richmond, VA to the late William Stanley & Alma Kate (Peters) Miller. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Mrs. Anderson was married March 8,1941 to James Burr Anderson and he preceded her in death July 28,1994. Three sisters; Ailene Jones, Hazel Osby and Dorothy Olendorf and one brother; William Miller also preceded her as well.

She is survived by two daughters; Ruth Barnett (Ted), of Rives, TN, and Jean Hayes (James), of Hickory, KY, two sons; Stanley Anderson, of Murray, KY and Richard Smith of Texas, along with ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday at Temple Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jim Fortner and Rev. Max Anderson officiating. No visitation will be held prior to the service and friends are invited to meet at the cemetery.
