James "Jim" Lutz, Sr., 71 of Benton, Kentucky died on Monday, August 18, 2014, at his home. He was retired from Erickson Information Systems where he worked as a Computer Technician.
Born Tuesday, July 27, 1943 in McAlester, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Clarence Lutz and the late Ruth Ellen (Rich) Lutz.
Surviving are his sons, Mark Lutz of Murray, KY, Jimmy Lutz of Jackson, MI, Michael Lutz of Benton, KY, daughter, Kim Lutz of Hillsdale, MI, brothers, Steve Lutz of Kalamazoo, MI and Jack Lutz of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Amanda Caldwell of Grand Rapids, MI, Christopher Lutz of Hillsdale, MI, Michael Lutz Jr. of Columbus, OH, Katelynn Moneymaker of Hillsdale, MI, Alexis Lutz of Hillsdale, MI; Gauge Morris of Benton, KY, Ranee Altobello-Roach, Dallas and Cody Childress all of Matthews, MO, Jasmine Lutz and Seth Lutz of Hillsdale, MI and Dean Lutz of Matthews, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers; Phil Lutz and Joe Lutz.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
No visitation is scheduled for Mr. Lutz.
