Jeanette Alexander

Mrs. Jeanette Alexander, 78 of Benton, KY passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY. 

Born Sunday, February 15, 1942 in Paducah, KY, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Herndon and the late Gracie (Shephard) Herndon. She was the wife for 57 years to the late Glenn Alexander. She was a homemaker, mother, aunt and nana, and one of the original owners of the family business, Benton Electric Supply. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton.  

Surviving are sons, Brian Alexander of Benton, KY and Kevin (Paula) Alexander of Symsonia, KY, Stephen Alexander of Benton, KY, brothers, Paul Herndon of Paducah, KY and Bill Herndon of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Ross (Allie) Williams of Cunningham, KY and Dylan Williams of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Mike Alexander; daughter, Kelly Renee Alexander; brothers, Clyde Herndon and Robert Herndon. 

In honor of Jeanette's wishes, a graveside service was held Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens.  Bro. Don Wilson officiated.  

Interment followed the service. No public visitation was held.
