Mr. Jerry Allen Young, age 74 of Benton, KY died on Monday, October 29, 2018, at his home. He was a retired Products Manager for John Deere Industrial. He received his MS Degree from SIU Carbondale, and was a veteran of the US Army, serving as an MP during the Vietnam War.
Born Saturday, April 8, 1944 in Moline, IL, he was the son of the late Wesley Young and the late Leona (Jansen) Young.
Surviving are son, Marc Young of Shiloh, IL and sister, Janet Duncan of Green Valley, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Audrey (Garber) Young, and son, David Young.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fairdealing Cemetery.
