Jettie Lancaster, 86, of Murray died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Lancaster was born on February 20, 1927 in Catchings, MS. She retired as a machine operator from Kimberly Clark after 38 years of service.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Walter Melton and Lura Mae Black; her husband of 66 years, Billy Cooper Lancaster; a brother, Bill Black; a sister, Eva Jo McGhee; and a son-in-law, Richard Elliott.
Mrs. Lancaster is survived by: a son, Steve Lancaster of Murray, KY; three daughters: Brenda Lancaster of Memphis, TN, Nancy Elliott of Murray, KY, and Joyce Holland and husband Vincent of Arlington, TN; three brothers: Bobby Black of Jacksonville, FL, Selby Black of Mantee, MS, and Bud Black of Arkabutla, MS; three sisters: Lurena Wellbanks of South Haven, Mississippi, Sissy Owens of Monroe, LA, and Betty Maxwell of Byhalia, MS; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
