Mrs. Linda Mae Alexander, age, 74 of Benton, KY passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born Friday, October 15, 1943 in Carrsville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Leslie McGough and the late Dollie (Henson) McGough. She was a Nurse's Aide at the Calvert City Convalescent Center and later worked at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation as a Dietary Aide. She was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Elmo Curtis Alexander of Benton, KY, seven children; Donna Vaughn of Benton, KY, Tammy Alexander of Melber, KY, Melissa Alexander of Calvert City, KY, Dennis W. "Bubba" Alexander of Mineola, TX, Norman Alexander of Lafayette, IN, John Alexander of Benton, KY, Rick Alexander of Las Vegas, NV. sister, Vivian Walker of Auburn, AL; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Dennis W. Alexander II, brothers, Carmel McGough and Gordon McGough, sister, Myrtle McGough.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
Interment will follow the service in the Lakeview Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
