Louise M. Benzing

Mrs. Louise M. Benzing, age 77, of Murray, KY died at 6:40pm Thursday at Spring Creek Health Care. She was born Oct. 10,1935 in Chicago, IL to the late Herman & Elsa (Hartig) Barthel. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a retired bookkeeper.

She is survived by her husband; Charles F. Benzing to whom she was married Sept. 6,1964, two sons; Glenn Benzing (Nina), of Sandoval, IL and Bruce Benzing, of Murray, KY, three sisters; Irmgard Dembrowski, of Palm City, FL, Dora Pieper (Robert), of Belvidere, IL and Ruth LaChance, of Wamego, Kansas, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nine nephews and five nieces.  She was preceded in death by one sister; Esther LaChance.    

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday April 27,2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 10 S. 15th Street, Murray, KY 42071, with Rev. Dr. Chad Foster officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
