Marty W. Story

Mr. Marty Story, 61, of Murray, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House. Marty was born on Valentine's Day, 1958 in Murray to Kenneth Story and Mary Frances Sumter. His favorite vocation was training thoroughbreds. Marty served in the Merchant Marines. In addition to his parents, Marty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Asher and Mildred Farris and Ray and Cora Story as well as a brother, Kelly Story. He is survived by a son, Tyson Story (Gloria) of Murray; three brothers, Tim Story (Lyn) of Louisville, John Sumter of Murray, Jimmy Boatwright (Cheryl), Kenny Story of California and three grandchildren, Alexis and Amaya Aguero and Tryson Story. A gathering of family and friends in celebration of Marty's life will be held from 5-8 PM, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray, 311 N. 4th St., Murray, KY 42071.
