Ms. Melissa Banker age 40, of Smyrna, Tennessee, died Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at the StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee.
Ms. Banker was born on March 25, 1980, in Murray, Kentucky. She was a 1998, graduate of Reed Custer High School in Coal City, Illinois and was a store clerk. She was of the Church of Christ Faith.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Banker; brother, Robbie Banker; grandparents, Robert Ray Banker, Ruth Banker, Herbert Boyle, Mary Ruth Bell, and Glenn Bell.
Survivors include her mother, Pam Banker and partner Ron Christy Sr. of Smyrna, Tennessee; brother, Ron Christy Jr. of Smyrna, Tennessee; grandmother, Deloris Boyle Whisenant and husband Doug of Murray, Kentucky; uncle, Gary Boyle and wife Deborah of Murray, Kentucky; two aunts, Angela Darnell and husband Chris of Murray, Kentucky and Annie Dukes and husband Rodney of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at the Wofford Cemetery in Stewart County, Tennessee with John Dale officiating. There will be no public visitation held.
