Mrs. Carl Dean Wilson, 66 of Benton, Kentucky died on Monday, August 25, 2014, at her home in Benton, Kentucky. She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Born Saturday, March 27, 1948 in Salem, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Carl Brown and the late Odie Lorena (Guess) McClure Owen.
Surviving are son, Matthew Blan Wilson of Benton, KY, daughters, Martha Dean McKinney of Eddyville, KY and Elizabeth Ann Powell of Benton, KY, sisters, Verna May McKinney-Kinnis of Eddyville, KY and Dale Greta (Owen) Beverly of Beaver Dam, KY; brother, Billy Charles Owen of Greenville, KY; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Blan Wilson Jr., brothers, James William McClure, Troy Wayne McClure, Oliver Ray McClure, and Dannie Ross McClure.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Bill Amberg officiating.
Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Collier Funeral Home.
