Murray Glenn Davidson, Sr.

Mr. Murray Glenn Davidson Sr., 75, of Benton, KY, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. Mr. Davidson attended Highland Presbyterian Church in Paducah, KY. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. His favorite activities included line dancing, 2 stepping, ballroom dancing and riding his motorcycle. He was always the life of the party and had a great sense of humor. He is survived by a son, Murray Glenn Davidson Jr. (Tina Lax) of Paducah, KY; daughters, Sandy Wood (Kevin) of Daphne, AL and Lisa Austin (Mike) of Mayfield, KY; sisters, Vonell Bebout of Fredonia, KY, and Linda Ramage of Marion, KY; brother, Rocky Hornback of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Angel Klatt, Alyssa Chapman, Michael Wood, Shanna Phillips and Nick Nolan; and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Hornback; brother, Roper Hornback: and parents, Murray Franklin Davidson and Alfreda Dixon Davidson Hornback. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with Rev’s Brian Flahardy and Bud Russell Officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
