Mr. Percy Ray Wyatt, age 88 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Superior Care Home in Paducah, KY. He was retired from Penwalt. He was a lifelong member of Briensburg United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School for 60 years. Mr. Wyatt was a long time board member of Third Place Ministries Crisis Fund. He was a member of the Briensburg Masonic Lodge for 67 years where he was past master mason, and served as a set designer and actor with the Marshall County Theater.
Surviving are his son, Stephen Wyatt, wife Cheryl of Lexington, KY, and daughter, Cynthia Bradshaw, husband Joe of Cape Girardeau, MO.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Norma Sue (Thompson) Wyatt, parents, Percy and Hettie (Franklin) Wyatt; brother, Wayne E. Wyatt; and sisters, Madeline Culp and Lucile Wyatt.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Bill Lawson and Rev. Gregory Waldrop officiating.
Interment will follow in the Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 noon and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Collier Funeral Home.
