Roe Bert "Sawbuck" Sires

Mr. Roe Bert "Sawbuck" Siress, 89, of Benton, KY passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020, at his home. 

Born Wednesday, October 15, 1930 in Marshall Co., KY, he was the son of the late Frank Siress and the late Pauline (Rudd) Siress. He was a retired plumber, a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 184, an avid fisherman/outdoorsman and a member of Benton First United Methodist Church.  

Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Elizabeth Anne (Jones) Siress of Benton, KY; daughters, Karen (Louie) Marr of Corbin, KY, Kim (Gary) Tapp of Benton, KY, Karol (Barry) Hardison of Benton, KY and Kennita (Jim) Blanchard of Benton, KY; sisters, Mary Lee Bennett of Hardin, KY and Sheila Kay White of Hazel, KY; brother, Gary Don Siress of Hardin, KY; 8 grandchildren, Erin Cima, Laura Angell, Nick Tapp, Megan Goke, Nathan Tapp, Brett Blanchard, Kacey Vaught and Layne Hardison; 13 great-grandchildren (and one on the way) and 1 great-great-grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Van "Tinker" Siress and 2 great-grandchildren, Adelide and Belle Maguet. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Robert McKinney and John Roberts will officiate.

Interment will follow the services at Brooks Chapel Cemetery, Dexter, KY. 

Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
