Mrs. Sharon Kay May, age 64, of Benton, KY, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015, in Benton, KY. Mrs. May was retired from the food service where she had been self-employed and was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Samantha Walton of Benton, KY; one son, Steve Ford of Stockbridge, GA; three step-sons, Larry May of Evansville, IN; Phil May of Nashville, TN, Rocky May of Dothan, AL; two sisters, Maxine Wade and Debbie Smith both of Benton, KY; six grandchildren, Kyle Henson, Ashley Walton, Brett Walton, Makayla Alexander, Kenny Langenderfer and Kristina Ford and one great-grandchild, Hunter James Henson.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Laura Mae Frazee, her husband: Robert Donald May, and her daughter: Tammy Lee Cox.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 26, 2015 in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home, with Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th Street, Benton, KY 42025.
