Ms. Shirley Jean Hurt, age 71 of Bardwell, KY died on Monday, November 26, 2018, at Countryside Nursing and Rehab in Bardwell, KY. She was a retired dental assistant for Wallace Dental and was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
Born Monday, October 6, 1947 in Marshall Co, KY, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Hurt and the late Creola (Seaford) Hurt.
Surviving are her sister, Carolyn Greenfield, husband Louie of Palm Harbor, FL, nephew, Richie Morris of Scottsdale, AZ, niece, Tisha Bartlett, husband Barry of Palm Harbor, FL, great-nephews, Jeremy Morris of Murray, KY, Kyler Nix of Murray, KY, Braxton Bartlett of Palm Harbor, FL, Wesley Bartlett of Palm Harbor, FL, and great-great nephew and niece, Townes Morris and Julia Morris of Murray, KY.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Bro. CC Brasher officiating.
Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
