Shirley Mildred Bell

Mrs. Shirley Mildred (Kihnley) Bell, age 84, of Murray, KY died at 4:31am Wednesday at Spring Creek Health Care. She was born July 28,1928 in Louisville, KY to the late Frank & Selma (Broedfuhrer) Kihnley, and was a long time redsident of Murray. Her brother; Donnie Kihnley also preceded her in death.
 
She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and a retired homemaker, a wife and mother,a lover of books and dancing, a baseball fan and a card shark, and a belovedgrandmother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband of 66 years Charles (Charlie) Bell to whom she was married April 5, 1947, her children; David Bell (Nancy), of Murray, KY, Deborah Wood (Larry), of Franklin, KY, her seven grandchildren; Angie Hoke, Michael Bell (Kelly), Jason Wood (Michelle), Paul Bell (Lisa), Brett Wood (Sunni), Bill Bell (Courtney), & Jenna McCormick (Henry), and sixteen great grandchildren and one on the way. She is also survived by a brother; Richard Kihnley (Margaret), of Jupiter, FL, and a sister in law; Dolores Kihnley, of Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday at BLALOCK-COLEMAN & YORK FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Kerry lambert officiating. Entombment will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may visit from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Friday at BLALOCK-COLEMAN & YORK FUNERAL HOME.
