Ms. Shirley Scott, 70, of Farmington, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at her home.
Shirley was born on December 12, 1946 in Murray, KY to the late William Lee Barnett and Dora Garrison Barnett. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Murray.
Surviving Ms. Scott is a son, Jimmy Lee Scott, wife Brandy, of Murray; a daughter, Shelia Landis, husband David of Farmington; a brother, Bill Lee Barnett of Calvert City; two sisters, Carol Hodges and Margie King, husband Ricky, both of Murray; nine grandchildren, William Scott, Trey Cossey, Samantha Scott, Megan Cossey, Shelby Scott, Madison Cossey, Morgun Scott, Gage Scott, Kalen Salyer and two great grandchildren.
The funeral service is set for 11 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray. Burial will follow at Barnett Cemetery. Brett Miles and Clint McCoy will officiate. Pallbearers include Craig King, Ronald Hodges, Gary Barnett, Gage Scott, Trey Cossey and Brad Travis.
The family of Ms. Scott will receive visitors from 5-8 PM on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Heritage Chapel.
