Mrs. Thelma A. Toby, age 83 of Benton, KY passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born Monday, March 2, 1936 in Harlan County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Adkins and the late Delores (Baker) Adkins. She was a mother, homemaker and interior designer. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton, Benton, KY.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Donald Toby of Benton, KY; sons, Ken Toby, wife Deanne of Benton, KY and Troy Toby of Salem, KY; sisters, Marjorie Wood of Gilbertsville, KY and Magdaline Underhill of Glasgow, KY; grandchildren, Kate Morefield, husband Wesley, Sam Toby and Leigh Toby; great-grandchildren, Van Reed, Sophie Donohoo and McCall Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Harold Adkins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Don Wilson and Rev. Mark Doom officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Louisville, KY.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY.
