Abbie Bowland Russell Parker, 82, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 10:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at her residence.
She was retired from her 53 year career as the Front End Manager for Kroger and was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Eugene Parker; son, Stephen Russell and wife, Dara of Cumming, GA; three, step daughters, Nancy Russell Davidson and husband, Jim of Hoschton, GA, Pat Parker of Louisville, KY ; and Janie Benjamin and husband, Dan of Louisville, KY; one step son, Scotty Parker and wife, Toni of Paducah, KY; one sister, Ann Mueller of Paducah, KY; her brother, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Bowland of Clarksville, TN; three grandchildren, Miles Russell, Sam Russell, and Mason Russell; step grandchildren, Tom Davidson, Jason Davidson, Brian Benjamin, Kalen Parker, and Betsy Hart; three nieces, Sharon Bowland, Kym Johnson, Abbie Stokes; and two nephews, Michael Bowland and Jimmy Copeland.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hollie W. Russell; her parents, James T. Bowland and Gladys Mae McWaters Bowland; and stepson, Hollie B. Russell.
Funeral services for Mrs. Parker will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January, 30, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
