Arthur Morgan, 84, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Philadelphia, PA. He was retired from the Shawnee Steam Plant where he worked in Maintenance as an Electrician. Arthur served in the United States Navy was a member of the Naval Mine Warfare Organization and the Destroy Escort Association. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #816, Mt. Carmel Masonic Lodge in Lynn, MA and the Paducah Commandry #11. Arthur was of the Baptist faith.

 

He is survived by one son, Robert A. Morgan and wife Rhonda of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Andrew Morgan and Megan Evans and husband Luke; great grandchildren, Brandon Evans and Makinley Evans.

 

Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia June Hill Morgan and one brother. His parents were Frank Clifton Morgan and Elizabeth Forbes McGill Morgan.

 

Memorial services and burial at sea with Navy Funeral Honors will be held at a later date.
