Barbara Gregory

Barbara Gregory, 72 of Paducah.  Went home to be with her Lord at 5:42 a.m. Sunday at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah.  Ms. Gregory was active member of Southland Baptist Temple where she served as Church secretary for 47 years, Barbara also  taught Children’s  Sunday School for many of those years.  She is survived by three brothers Sam Gregory of Reidland;  Bill and Gary Gregory, both of Paducah.  Three sisters, Dorothy (Archie) Dowdy of Calvert City;  Carolyn (Bill) Marcum of Murray;  Diane (James) Pulley of Decauter, Il.  Several nieces and nephews.  Ms. Gregory was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Earl; and one sister,  Ruby.  Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday September 30th at Lindsey Funeral Home.  With the Rev. Jimmy Franks and Rev. Topper Council.  Burial to follow at Maplelawn Park  Cemetery.   Friends may call from 5 to 8 Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home.  In lieu  of flowers friends are asked to give to Southland Baptist Temple Building Fund  927 Yarbro Ln, Paducah, KY 42003 or the American Cancer Society, P.O.
