Barbaranelle Tackett, 78, of Paducah, Ky died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2016 at her home. Barbaranelle was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir, a graduate of St. John High School and a long time member of the St. John Homemakers. She was a retiree of Paducah City Schools where she served as manager of Paducah Tilghman Cafeteria.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert L. Tackett, three daughters, Colleen (Bruce) Tincher of Paducah, KY, Cindy (Erik) Sandefer of Lexington, KY and Carol (Ron) Kupper of Paducah, KY; two sisters, Marietta Haas & Charlotte Haas both of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Edwin (Judy) Haas, Louisville, KY and Louis Haas of Paducah, KY; six grandchildren, Kyle (Emily) Tincher, Shelbyville, KY, Meagan Tincher, Paducah, KY, Adam Sandefer, Benton, KY, Kathryn Sandefer, Lexington, KY, Lauren Kupper, Paducah, KY and Casey Kupper, Paducah, KY, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, George Adam Haas & Mary Margaret Roof Haas, one sister, Sister Mary Jeanette Haas, and a grandson, Alan Joseph Sandefer.
Her Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Bruce Fogle officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with prayers beginning at 7:00 p.m.
