Bart Lynn Goins, 79, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Ages, Kentucky. Bart worked in the coal mines as a Foreman for Arch Mineral Corp. He was a member of Cumberland Church of God in Cumberland, Kentucky and the Masonic Lodge in Somerset, Kentucky. Bart enjoyed fishing and spending time on the lake. He served in the United States Navy.
Bart is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Farris Goins; daughter, Kristi Goins Harris and husband Chris of Paducah, Kentucky; son, Ricky Goins and wife Rebeca of Charlotte, North Carolina; sister, Sharon Nesmith of Tallahassee, Florida; brothers, Joe Goins of Berea, Kentucky, Gary Goins of Lynch, Kentucky, Curtis Goins of LaGrange, Kentucky and Bobby Goins of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Amber Goins, Nathan Goins, Mallori Harris, Natalee Harris, Emily Goins, Elijah Goins, Emersyn Goins and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bart Goins and Maggie Hughes Goins.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
