Bessie Pearl Reed, age 101, of Ashburn, VA, formerly of Paducah and Detroit, MI passed away, Sunday, January 28, 2018, 1:47 a.m., at her residence.
She was a former member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Paducah.
She is survived by one son, Billy Irvin of Detroit, MI and one daughter, Sylvia Huff of Paola, KS; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Woodfork and Stella Jenkins Woodfork; four sisters, one brother and two grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2018, 12:00 Noon, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Eric Doss will officiate and burial will follow in the Blandville Cemetery.
Friends may also call Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
