Billy Joe Morgan, age 88 of Bardwell ,Ky., died Tuesday July 26, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital.
He worked for The Kentucky State Highway Department for over 30 years. He had a passion for farming and loved tending to his garden each year. He was a member of Mississippi Baptist Church in Bardwell, Ky.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen Gene Terry Morgan of Bardwell, one son, Bradley Morgan and wife Carole of Bardwell and one grandson, Eric Morgan of Bardwell.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sarah Morgan; parents, John and Golda Hogancamp Morgan; brothers J.T. and Charles Morgan.
Funeral services for Billy Joe Morgan will be 1:00 pm Friday July 29, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell. Rev. Mark Burnett will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 am Friday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell.
