Bobby Vaughn, 79, of Paducah, Kentucky, formerly of Livingston County, passed away at 3:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Vaughn was a veteran of the National Guard having served his country in Berlin. He was a member of Lone Oak United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School class and was a youth leader. He was retired from Paducah Water where he was a plant manager.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Cheryl Cunningham Vaughn, daughter, Karen Jones and husband Derek of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son Greg Vaughn and wife, Karen of Paducah, sister, Dorothy Wilson of Livingston County; six grandchildren, Sydney, Dawson, Ellie, Emerson, Alec, and Bryson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Elva May Vaughn; and three brothers, Alfred, Clifford, and Harold Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Jones officiating. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Old Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Vaughn will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
