Brad Wells, age 53, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 12:55 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital. Brad was a member of Rosary Chapel Catholic Church and a graduate of PaducahTilghman High School. He was a former press operator at Paducah Sun and worked out of Local #1214 as a laborer. He loved deer hunting and was an avid Kentucky Basketball fan. Brad was a loving husband, son, father, brother, and “PaPa” to his grandchildren.
Survivors include wife, Tracy Lynn Edging Wells, one daughter, Shannon (Brandon) Thompson, West Paducah; one son, Brandon Wells, Paducah; mother, Barbara Walker Wells, Paducah; three stepdaughters, Destiny Ross, Juliana Edging, Alyssa Edging all of West Paducah; one stepson, Tyler Hayes, West Paducah; two sisters Tammy Jones, Carterville, Illinois and Joni Gonzalez, Paducah, Kentucky; four step-grandchildren, Aniyah Johnson, Chace Johnson, Wyatt Joiner, Maci Edging and grandson, Maverick Thompson to be born in June; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doug & Nancy Hughes of Paducah, Kentucky.
Preceding in death was his father, Bobby Jospeh Wells, grandparents, Ernest & Ruby Walker and Raymond & Magdalene Wells; two brothers-in-law, Joe Adkinson and Gary Jones.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Rosary Chapel Catholic Church with Rev. Stan Puryear officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with prayers at 7:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
