Mrs. Brenda Lane (Mays) Sirls, age 76 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at her home.
She was the owner of Brenda Sirls Realty for 40 years, and received several notable achievements throughout her life. These include: President of the KY/Barkley Lake Board of Realtors and Realtor Emeritus with the National Association of Realtors. She was a KY Colonel, member of the Aurora Homemakers Association for 40 years, President of the South Marshall Fire Department Auxiliary, member of the Aurora/Jonathan Creek Action Committee, and the American Red Cross. She was a member of Union Ridge Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer.
Born Saturday, March 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Loyd Dublin and the late Ivergene (Taylor) Dublin.
Surviving are son, Ricky Sirls of Benton, KY, daughter, Karan Sirls of Benton, KY; 1 grandchild, Chandler Lane Sirls.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 47 years, Jerry K. Sirls.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. George T. Culp Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
