Buddy Chambers, age 84 of Paducah passed away at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah. Buddy was a member of High Point Pentecostal Church. Chambers Roofing is a recognized name in Paducah and McCracken County since 1943 and is now operated by the third generation family. Buddy was respected as a roofing contractor in the area for many years. Buddy was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and watching University of Kentucky Basketball. He maintained a booth at “The Shed” and enjoyed being a part of it.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Patricia Ann Overby Chambers; one daughter, Julia Diane Chambers Hunt and husband, Michael of Paducah; three sons, Steven Lin Chambers, West Paducah, Mark Alan Chambers and wife Joni, of Paducah and Joe Pat Chambers and wife Erika, of Lone Oak ; two sisters, Nettie Fortson and husband, Wilfred and Jean White both of Paducah; one brother, James Chambers and wife, Joan, of Paducah; five grandchildren, Hillary Rose Chambers, Sydney Nicole Chambers, Madelyn Diane Chambers, Maxwell Hamilton Chambers and Heidi McCall Chambers; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were his parents, Robert Chambers & Blanche Leasor Chambers.
Services will beld at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Brother Doug Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
