Mr. Carl “Denny” Harris, 66, of Salem, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services in Salem, KY.
Mr. Harris enjoyed fishing and rabbit hunting. He had a great sense of humor, and loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janice Dunbar Harris; two daughters, Carla (Donnie) Harris of Salem, Marcy (Wesley) Shuecraft of Salem; one son, Troy (Sheri) Harris of Grand Rivers; three sisters, Faye Baker and Irma Springs of Salem, Evelyn Orenduff of Tucson, AZ; three brothers, Tommy Harris of Salem, Billy Wayne Harris and Robert Harris of Brook, IN; five grandchildren, Daniel (Makayla) Harris of Salem, Blake (Abby) Shuecraft of Mayfield, Brittany Harris of Salem, Tori Harris of Grand Rivers; one great grandchild, Raelyn Harris.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, Viola Miller, Emma Lou Belt, Leona Belt, Carolyn Agent, and Shirley Hackney; four brothers, Henry “Buddy” Harris, Tommy Agent, Claude Agent, and Jerry Agent; two grandchildren, Drake and Clayton Harris; and his parents, Ules and Estelle Byford Harris.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY. Burial will follow at Lola Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
