Carol Partin, age 70, of Paducah, KY passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Carol was born on April 6, 1948 to the late Hershel and Lynella Hughes Allbritten. She was a 50 plus year member of Lovelaceville Methodist Church and a homemaker. She loved flowers, gardening, reading and had a special fondness for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She never forgot anything and she took pride in taking care of others, especially doctoring them whether they liked it or not. She is best remembered by those who loved her as someone who was loving, caring and talkative, yet a great listener.
Carol is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bruce Partin; her daughter, Amie Birdsong and husband, Paul of Princeton, KY; her two sons, Jamie Partin and wife, Patricia of Olive Branch, MS and Jeremy Partin and wife, Jennifer of Paducah, KY; two sisters, Wanda McNeil and husband, Dale of Paducah, KY and Bonnie Allbritten of Bowling Green, KY; one brother, Donnie Allbritten and wife, Ann of Paducah, KY; four grandchildren, Allison Oliver (Caleb), Holly Dillingham (Ben), Anthony Partin and Taylor Partin; and four great-grandchildren, Kori McCormick-Partin, Sadie Beth Oliver, Sutton Oliver and Jhett Dillingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Hershel Allbritten; and her grandson, Robert Partin.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Keith Osborne and Rev. Vida McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
