Charles Edward Duncan, 78, of Benton, died Thursday at 12:49 pm at Baptist Health-Paducah.
Charles was a member of Sharpe Missionary Baptist Church and was a chaplain for the Possum Trot-Sharpe Fire Department. He was a carpet cleaner for PMCS Floor Care.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Rose Duncan; three daughters, Pam Cornwell and Pat Duncan both of Benton, and Carol Walsh of Paducah; two sons, Ralph Duncan and Phil Duncan both of Benton; two sisters, Dorothy Rollins and Barb Humphery; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Edward Duncan and Mary Lilly Gober; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Saturday at Sharpe Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow at Saylers Creek Cemetery in Marshall County. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-8pm at the church.
